At 8:30 a.m. on June 18, our company carried out an emergency fire drill activity as planned. In order to minimize the harm after a fire caused by work errors, natural disasters, and other reasons during daily production, enhance the safety awareness of all employees, enable each employee to master emergency rescue procedures and methods, improve the emergency technical level and collaboration ability of each department, and put the concept of "prevention first, safety first" into practice, this emergency fire drill activity was specially carried out.
This activity was mainly carried out in the following 4 parts:
1. Explain situations prone to fire and countermeasures after they occur.
2. Explain in detail the use of various fire extinguishers and the different fire source situations targeted by each type of fire extinguisher.
3. All employees, by department, used various types of fire extinguishers on site to extinguish fires in turn.
4. Explain and demonstrate the use of fire hydrants to extinguish fires, and let employees personally participate in using them.
Through this fire drill activity, everyone gained a further understanding of the hazards, prevention, and handling of fires, learned relevant knowledge, and mastered emergency handling skills. When a disaster occurs, they can make basic judgments and responses to the on-site situation. It played a great role in reducing harm and protecting citizens' personal and property safety when fires occur. It is of great help to everyone in both work and life in the future. This activity is very meaningful and will be continued.
