International Collaboration — Product Upgrade and Portable Packaging Co-creation with ONDA Customer in Indonesia

Project BackgroundFORWA and important Indonesian customer ONDA are comprehensively upgrading the existing product line. ONDA is an important channel partner in Indonesia's local sealing materials field, and its end customers include a large number of local pipeline engineering contractors and offline purchasing points.

Core ChallengesThe original products face two pain points in the Indonesian market: first, product performance needs further improvement to meet the access requirements of high-end markets in the Middle East and Europe; second, traditional hanging packaging boxes are inconvenient for end construction personnel to access on site, affecting construction efficiency.

SolutionThe FORWA team advances the upgrade from two dimensions: first, by optimizing product density, the sealing performance, durability, and extreme temperature resistance of the thread seal tape are raised to a new level, and the product is driven to obtain the globally recognized WRAS potable water safety certification; second, adopting the suggestions of ONDA end customers, the traditional hanging box packaging is changed to a portable bucket-style container, facilitating storage, access, and on-site operation.

Application Results | Both parties immediately started production of the first batch of upgraded products after the meeting. Obtaining WRAS certification gives the product a "passport" to enter high-end markets in Europe and the Middle East, while the user-friendly packaging significantly improves downstream engineers' construction experience and purchasing convenience. ONDA highly praises FORWA's commitment to quality and proactive attitude toward certification upgrades, believing this is highly consistent with their goal of providing the safest and most reliable products to the market.
