Recently, our company, Guangdong PTFE Products Factory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “FORWA”), held a productive remote video conference with an important Indonesian customer, ONDA. The two parties reached an important consensus on the comprehensive upgrading of the existing product line, marking a key step forward in FORWA’s internationalization strategy and high-end product layout.
The core topic of this meeting was the strategic upgrading of cooperative products. Based on deep insight into global market trends, the FORWA team took the lead in proposing to improve product competitiveness from two dimensions: first, significantly improve the intrinsic quality of products by optimizing product density, making the sealing performance, durability, and extreme temperature resistance of thread seal tape reach new heights; second, apply for and mark the product with the globally credible WRAS (UK) certification. This certification is an authoritative credential for products safely contacting potable water. Obtaining it is not only the ultimate recognition of FORWA’s quality but also a “passport” for the two parties to jointly enter high-end markets such as Europe and the Middle East.
In response to actual usage needs at market terminals, the ONDA customer put forward a highly constructive suggestion—innovating traditional hanging box packaging into portable handled bucket packaging. This design fully considers the experience of downstream engineers and offline procurement points, making products more convenient in storage, retrieval, and on-site operations, and can effectively improve user stickiness. The FORWA team highly recognized this proposal and believed that this is not merely a change in packaging form but an important manifestation of the shift from “production thinking” to “user thinking.”
The meeting was conducted in a friendly and professional atmosphere. The ONDA customer highly praised FORWA’s philosophy of insisting on quality and proactively seeking certification upgrades, believing it is completely consistent with their goal of providing the market with the safest and most reliable products. Based on this high degree of mutual trust and consensus, the two parties decided on the spot: immediately start production of the first batch of upgraded products.
“This cooperation upgrade with ONDA confirms that ‘quality is king’ is a common language in global markets,” said the person in charge of FORWA’s foreign trade. “Through the dual upgrade of WRAS certification and humanized packaging, we have not only consolidated our partnership with old customers but also demonstrated the technical strength and customer value of the ‘FORWA’ brand to the global market.”
The smooth progress of this cooperation is another example of FORWA, as a national high-tech enterprise, driving development through innovation and winning the market through quality. In the future, FORWA will continue to deepen strategic collaboration with international customers, continuously launch sealing solutions that better conform to global standards and user expectations, and let “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” shine on the world stage.
