Traditional thread seal tape is prone to creep loosening under high pressure and alternating temperature conditions, leading to micro-leakage and safety hazards. Meanwhile, gas pipelines are mostly located underground or in confined spaces, and maintenance windows are short.

SolutionFORWA 511 yellow liquid thread sealant (gas pipeline dedicated) was adopted. This product is an anaerobic sealing material that cures into a solid tightly bonded with metal threads, offering excellent high-pressure and vibration resistance and preventing thread oxidation and rusting. Its temperature range covers -55℃ to +150℃, pressure range <80MPa, and it has excellent resistance to most chemicals, solvents, fuels, and lubricants.
