FORWA PTFE Shrink Tubing
Heat-shrink · High insulation · Extreme temperature resistance · Strong corrosion resistance
FORWA · SINCE 1993
Product Introduction
FORWA PTFE Shrink Tubing is a functional heat-shrink sleeve made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material through a special process. After heating, it shrinks rapidly and tightly wraps around the surface of the object to be protected, forming a firm, stable insulating protective layer with excellent protective performance.
The product features excellent temperature resistance, extremely strong chemical corrosion resistance, outstanding electrical insulation, and a high shrink ratio. After heating, it can shrink to 50%–70% of its original size and remains shrunk after cooling. Its extremely low coefficient of friction and good flexibility allow it to adapt to complex installation environments. It complies with the VW-1 flame retardant standard and is suitable for high-tech fields such as electronics and electrical, aerospace, medical devices, chemical, and automotive industries.

Core Advantages
Excellent Temperature Resistance
Can be used long-term within a wide temperature range from -200℃ to +260℃, with stable physical and chemical properties, no deformation or aging, and a melting point as high as 327℃.
Extremely Strong Chemical Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to almost all strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, and organic solvents, including aqua regia. It is an ideal protective material in extremely corrosive environments.
Excellent Electrical Insulation
Has extremely high resistance and dielectric strength (dielectric breakdown strength ≥45 kV/mm, volume resistivity ≥1×10¹⁸ Ω·cm), making it an ideal electrical insulating material.
High Shrink Ratio and Flexibility
Common shrink ratios 1.5:1–2:1. After heating, it can shrink to 50%–70% of its original size and remains shrunk after cooling. Flexibility and bendability adapt to complex installation environments.
Industry Pain Points Solved
| Traditional Pain Points | FORWA PTFE Shrink Tubing Solution |
|---|---|
| Extreme environment protection: ordinary heat-shrink tubing cannot work stably in high-temperature, strongly corrosive, and other extreme environments. | Long-term stability from -200℃ to +260℃, resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and strong oxidants, reliable protection in extreme environments. |
| High-reliability insulation: ordinary materials experience decreased insulation performance under harsh conditions. | Dielectric breakdown strength ≥45 kV/mm, volume resistivity ≥1×10¹⁸ Ω·cm, providing reliable insulation for electronic and electrical components. |
| Complex shape covering: ordinary sleeves are difficult to fit irregularly shaped objects. | Heat-shrink properties tightly fit irregularly shaped objects for seamless protection. |
| Component identification and fixation: wires and cables lack effective identification and fixation methods. | Can be used for color identification, stress relief, and fixation of wires, cables, and other components. |
